I can learn more about art from other artists because of new technology like Pinterest. With Pinterest I can look up many types of art. I can search specific things to inspire me and give me new ideas with what to do with my own work. I can learn how to do different things with my work on Youtube with all the tutorials. This enables me to make my monster look more “lifelike.” I used both Pinterest and Youtube for this project. I gathered ideas and inspiration from Pinterest and learned how to do things I saw on Pinterest on Youtube.

Technology helped me with brainstorming by being able to look up different ideas. I was able to do some sketches on the computer. The ones I did on paper I was able to scan it into the computer. I was able to look up other sketches and watch videos on how to do better sketches all on the computer. I used Pinterest for brainstorming and finding new ideas.

If this technology did not exist I would still be able to communicate my message. It wouldn't be as clear because I wouldn't be able to look up different artists ideas. I would have books to look through that I could find some people's work in but not as much as online. It would be harder to find the inspiration for it. I would have to draw my monster on paper with different drawing tools.
